Privacy Policy

DealQube ("we", "us") operates dealqube.store, a product-offer and deal discovery service. Privacy questions and data requests can be sent to [email protected].

DealQube resolves a browsing region from your saved dq_region cookie when present, then from language/locale hints or the site's default region. The saved region is a short region code; it is not a public-site account identifier. You can change the region from the interface or clear it from our Cookie & Browser Storage page.

The application records limited first-party events such as live-offer impressions and outbound offer clicks, generally together with the DealQube item, region and event time. These events support trending, operational analytics, sponsored-placement reporting and merchant-facing aggregate metrics. The public event records are not built around a persistent DealQube visitor ID and are not linked to a public browsing account.

DealQube loads Ahrefs Web Analytics from analytics.ahrefs.com to understand site traffic and interactions. Ahrefs states that its Web Analytics product does not set analytics cookies, does not keep raw IP addresses with analytics data, and uses a daily pseudonymous identifier rather than a persistent identifier that follows a visitor across days.

Ahrefs may process data such as page views, link clicks, form submissions, referrer, browser/device information, language, approximate geography and screen size. Ahrefs is a separate service provider and has its own Privacy Policy.

Personalized recommendations are enabled by default as part of browsing DealQube. Deliberate actions such as opening a category or product, saving a favorite or adding a comparison can add temporary category-interest signals, while an outbound deal click is a stronger signal. Those signals re-order a broader server-selected pool of regional offers during the current visit; products you recently viewed or opened can also be demoted so the section keeps rotating. Without optional storage, the interest state exists only in page memory and is not saved for the next visit.

If you allow DealQube to remember interests between visits, decaying category scores are saved in this browser under dq_interest_v2. The saved profile is not sent to DealQube, has no anonymous visitor ID or fingerprint, and is not synchronized across devices. Recently viewed product history is also only saved when cross-visit interest memory is enabled.

You can turn personalized recommendations off entirely, or leave recommendations on while disabling cross-visit memory, on the Cookie & Browser Storage page. Turning recommendations off clears the saved interest profile and stops DealQube from using category-interest signals for ranking.

DealQube uses local browser storage for convenience features including favorites, comparisons, appearance/theme, privacy-notice state and recommendation preferences. These values remain on the device unless you clear them. The exact keys and controls are listed on our browser storage page.

Contact messages. When you use the contact form, we store the name, email address, subject and message you submit so we can handle the request.

Deal alerts and price watches. When you request an alert or watch, we store the email address and the region/product/category preferences needed to provide it. Confirmation and unsubscribe tokens are used so the service can verify and honor those requests.

Merchant and admin accounts. Authenticated DealQube team and merchant-portal users have account/session records required for access control and security. Session records can include technical information such as IP address and user agent. These records are not created merely by browsing the public catalog.

Outbound merchant links, including DealQube /go/… redirects, may contain affiliate parameters so a merchant or affiliate network can attribute a referral. When you leave DealQube, the destination merchant/network can process information under its own privacy terms. See our Affiliate Disclosure for the commercial relationship.

We use data to operate and secure DealQube, show region-relevant offers, provide features you request, understand aggregate site performance, measure genuine deal interactions, support merchants and paid placements, respond to messages, and detect abuse. Current-visit recommendation signals are used to make browsing more relevant without creating a persistent visitor profile. Cross-visit interest storage is used only when you allow that optional browser storage. Where applicable law requires a particular legal basis, the basis depends on the activity — for example, providing a requested service, our legitimate operational/security interests, or your choice for optional storage.

Current-visit interest signals held only in memory disappear when that browsing context ends. Browser values remain until they expire, you disable the relevant feature, or you clear them. Server-side records such as messages, alerts/watches, security sessions and analytics are kept for the period reasonably needed for the service, security, reporting, troubleshooting and applicable legal or accounting obligations. We do not promise an artificial fixed retention period where the application does not currently enforce one.

Hosting, infrastructure, analytics, email and affiliate services may process information in countries other than your own. Their own infrastructure and contractual/privacy terms govern that processing. DealQube aims to send providers only the information needed for the relevant service.

You can change the browsing region, turn personalized recommendations on or off, decide whether interests are remembered between visits, clear local browser data, unsubscribe from email alerts/watches, and use browser controls to remove site data. Depending on where you live, privacy law may also give you rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or a copy of certain personal data. We use technical and operational safeguards intended to protect DealQube and the information it holds, but no internet service can promise absolute security. Please do not send passwords, payment-card data or other unnecessary sensitive information through the contact form.

DealQube is a general-audience shopping/deal discovery service and is not designed to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
